My first (ever) blog post…

Ok, well, this isn’t really a blog post as such. It’s just me announcing the fact that I’m going to attempt to keep up a semi-regular blog. Of course, my posts will centre around the theme of pregnancy loss and the weird and, if you can believe it, sometimes wonderful things that come out of that experience (you have to take your positives where you can get them, right?). It’s about the day to day challenges and the golden nuggets of support that I often come across, most of the time completely out of the blue.

I haven’t planned what I’ll write about, I’ll just write when the mood takes me. I’ll write about whatever I’m experiencing in the moment, developments in our own fertility journey, new (and established) support networks and ideas, and challenges when they present themselves.

As most of us are, I’m pretty busy, so I’m not going to commit to a post a day, or even a week. If I can manage one a month, I’ll be happy with that. There’s a lot of therapy in this act of writing and releasing for me but I hope that some of it resonates with you too. I won’t have all the answers but my aim is to hold this space for you, and for me, so that we don’t feel so lonely in this world of loss that we inhabit.

As always, remember that You’re Not Alone.
